SkyTeam 11 video showed Ever Forward on the move Sunday morning

JENNIFER: WE CONTINUE TO FOLLOW BREAKING NEWS THIS MORNING WHERE THE EVER FORWARD IS MOVING IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AFTEREI BNG STUCK FOR FIVE WEEKS. WE’RE GOING TO SEND IT STRAIGHT UP TO CAPTAIN ROY IN SKY TEM 11. THIRD TIME WAS THE CHARM, CAPTAIN RECOGNIZE. >> I HEAR YA. THEY HAD SEVERAL THINGS GOING FOR THEM. THE WIND WERE IN THEIR FAVOR YESTERDAY WHEN THEY WERE DOING THE DREDGING AND OFFLOADING CONTAINERS. TODAY, THEY HAD SEVEN TUG BOATS THAT THEY USED TO PULL IT FREE. ONCE THEY GOT IT FREE, THEY ENDED UP BRINGING IT SOUTHBOUND ON THE BAY JUST SOUTH OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE TO WHERE THERE IS A — IF YOU WANT TO – CALL IT, A PARKING AREA, A O – MOORING AREA FOR LARGE VESSELS AS THEY WAIT THEIR TURN TO GET UP INTO THE INNER HARBOR. NOW, THE COAST GUARD IS PROVIDING THE SECURITY ZONE WHILE THEY CONTINUE TO TRANSPTOR THE VESSEL INTO A SPOT DOWN HERE SOUTH OF THE BAY SO TTHA THEY’LL BE ABLE TO ASSESS THE SITUATION, GET A TIME SLOT FOR WHEN THEY’LL BE ABLE TO GET BACK UP THE SECRET TERMINAL AND ONLOAD THE CONTAINERS THEY HAD TO OFFLOAD TO LIGHTEN THE SHIP TO FREE IT. I DON’T KNOW ABOUT BEING ABLE TO TAKE ON FUEL AND CHECKING BALLASTS AND WHATNOT, BUT RIGHT NOW THERE ARE FIVE TUG BOATS MOVING THIS VESSEL, AND THE WAY THE WINDS ARE RIGHT NOW, IT’S ACTUALLY ASSISTING THEM IN MOVING THE EVERFORWARD SOUTHBOUND ON THE BAY BECAUSE THE WINDSRE A PRETTY STRONG OUT OF THE NORTHWEST RIGHT NOW, ANYWHERE BETWEEN 20 AND 30 KNOTS BY THE BAY BRIDGE. WE’VE BEEN MONITORING THE SITUATION DOWN HERE. IF YOU HEAV QUESTIONS, GO AHEAD AND SHOOT. JENNIFER: YOU’VE BEEN WATCHING THE ORDEAL UNFOLD. WHAT HAS IT BEEN LIKE TO SEE THEM OFFLOAD THESE CONTAINERS? BECAUSE THEY’VE OFFLOADED HUNDREDS OF THEM. >> I WAS SHOCKED WITH THE WAY THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THAT. IHEY WERE ABLE TO DO THAT. MEAN, YOU LOOK AT SECRET MARINE TERMINAL AND THE CRANES THEY HAVE TO ONLOAD THE VESSELS WITH THE CONTAINERS, AND THEN THEY WERE VERY METHODICAL TAKING ONE AT A TIME AND PUTTING IT ON A BARGE, AND TYHE DIDN’T STACK THEM ON THE BARGE. THEY ONLY HAD THE CONTAINERS LE VEL ON THE BARGE SO THAT THERE WAS ONLY, MAYBE A HALF DOZEN TO A DOZEN CONTAINERS THAT WERE ON EACH BARGE AS THEY WERE GOING BACK AND FORTH. AND THEN THEY WOULD TAKE IT UP TO THE MARINE TERMINAL A ND OFFLOAD IT THERE. THEY HAVE AN AREA THAT THEY’RE STORING IT UP THERE. BUT THEY HAD TWO CRANES, SOMETIMES THREE TO GET THE CONTAINERS OFFHE T SHIP. YOU CAN SEE HOW IT’S KINOFD PIECEMEAL. SOME PLACES THEY DIDN’T TOUCH. JENNIFER: LOOKS LIKE THERE’S HUNDREDS STILL ON THERE. >> OH, YE,AH IT’S STILL A LOT OF CONTAINERS HERE, THAT’S FOR SURE. BUT THEY’LL HAVE TO TAKE IT, GET THEIR PAPERWORK IN ORDER FOR WHAT THEYUN LOADED W,HERE IT’S AT AND HOW TO PUT IT BACK IN PLACE ON THIS SHIP. IT’S JUST AMAZING TO WATCH THE SECRET MARINE TERMINAL IN ACTION THE WAYHE TY WERE ABLE TO STORE THE CONTAINERS. BUT THEN WHEN YOU TAKE AND PUT THEM O AN SHIP AND THEY KNOW EACH CONTAINER, WHERE IT’S AT, WHATT I CONTAINS AND WHERE IT’S GOING. IT’S AMAZING TO WATCH. WE’RE ALMOST IN THE MIDDLE OF PARKING AREA DOWN HERE, JEN. SHOULDN’TE B TOO MUCH LONGER, THEY’LL BE ANCHOR
